Morning Walk

The idea of this painting came whilst I had my usual run along the local River Chelmer. It embodies the feeling of the forthcoming spring: crisp, clean air and quiet anticipation of long, warm days in nature. The main focus is on the trees, still bare but awakening; the lady and her dog enjoy their brief stop by the river, adding life to the scene.
